Who we are
Ink Realty Group is a real estate team inside eXp Realty, serving the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This policy covers our website, inkrealtygroup.com — what it collects, why, and what we do (and never do) with it.
Questions about any of this? Email us at [email protected], or write to us at our brokerage office: eXp Realty, 15950 Dallas Pkwy, Suite 400, Dallas, TX 75248.
What we collect, and why
Your email address — that’s your account. There’s no password to create or remember. When you register, we email you a sign-in link; clicking it is how you come back. We never store a password for you, because you never make one.
The homes and searches you save. When you save a home or a search, we keep it so your My Ink page can hold it for you and so we can watch for the changes you asked us to watch for — a price drop, a status change, a new home that fits.
Your places. The spots that matter to your life — work, school, family, church — that you ask us to measure homes against:
Your places stay private. We use them only to measure distances for you. When you search for a place by name, the search runs on our own site, and nothing you type is sent anywhere else. If you enter a street address instead, we send just that address to the U.S. Census Bureau’s mapping service to locate it. The Bureau never receives your name or email. Beyond that, we never sell or share your places: not with lenders, not with other agents, not with anyone. Remove any place, anytime, and it’s gone.
Your viewing history. The homes you look at while you’re here:
When you create an account with us, we keep a record of the homes you view, save, and search for, so your My Ink page can show your history and pick up where you left off. That record is also shared with Follow Up Boss, the system our team uses to serve our clients. Looking at homes never starts a call, a text, or an email from us — your history only helps us continue a conversation you start.
Messages you send us. If you write to us through a form on this site, we keep the message so we can answer it and remember the conversation.
Email we send
Watch alerts and digests. If you ask us to watch homes or a search for you, we send those alerts by email through Postmark, our email delivery provider. We send them only to people who asked for them. Every alert email carries an unsubscribe link that works on its own — you never have to sign in to stop them.
The Ink Press. Our letter goes out through Mailchimp, only to people who subscribed to it, and every send carries an unsubscribe link. Leaving is one click, and it sticks.
Cookies and storage on your device
This site sets a visitor cookie so it can remember your places and your history on this device — even before you register, and even if you never do. It’s how the site picks up where you left off when you come back. If you later create an account, that history comes with you into My Ink.
We don’t sell cookie data, and we don’t share it with advertisers for their marketing. Our site does carry the Follow Up Boss pixel, which lets our own team see that a visit happened so we can follow up properly with people who reach out to us — it serves our follow-up, not anyone else’s advertising.
Who receives your information
Only the services it takes to run this site and serve you:
- Follow Up Boss — the system our team uses to serve our clients; it receives your account history, as described above.
- Postmark — delivers the alert and account emails we send you.
- Mailchimp — delivers The Ink Press, only if you’re subscribed to it.
- The U.S. Census Bureau — receives a street address only, and only when you enter one to locate a place, as described above. Never your name or email.
One more factual note: the home listings on this site come from NTREIS (the North Texas Real Estate Information Systems) through Bridge Interactive. That’s data flowing to us about homes — not data about you flowing out.
What we never do
- We never sell your personal information.
- We never sell or share your places — not with lenders, not with other agents, not with anyone.
- We never start a call, a text, or an email because you looked at a home. Your history only helps us continue a conversation you start.
Your choices
- Remove a place anytime — and it’s gone.
- Delete saved homes and searches from My Ink whenever you like.
- Unsubscribe from any email without signing in — the link in every email works on its own.
- Close your account entirely. Email [email protected] and ask us to delete your account and records, and we will.
How long we keep things
We keep your information while your account is active and while it’s useful for serving you — your saved homes, your places, your history, and the conversations we’ve had. When you delete something, it leaves your account. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your records. We don’t hold onto people’s information after it has stopped serving them.
Children
This site is built for adults looking at homes. It isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version here with its new effective date at the top, so what you’re reading is always the current word.
